Today, Henrik, Henriette, the sweet wood-girl Laura and myself went into the spruce plantations close by with a bast basket and a knife. Two hours later, the basket was packed with 4,5 kilos of the King Bolette (Boletus edulis: Porcini/Steinpils/Karl Johan) and ca. ten boletus erythropus (punktstokket indigo-rørhat). After meticulous sorting activity, we ended up with ca. 4 kg of eatable fungi! That’s how easy it can be! And then this ‘mushroom preserving’ link is recommendable for those of you self-appointed mycologists collecting fungi yourselves [also in Danish: Karl Johan bruscetta]
